Answer:
A logo is an iconic symbol designed to represent a company, product or service, and sometimes certain places. It also depicts an organization's personality.

Question: Do I have to be a U.S. Citizen to obtain a federal registration?

Answer:
No. However, an applicant's citizenship must be stated in the record. If an applicant is not a citizen of any country, then a statement to that effect is adequate.

Question: How long does a trademark last?

Answer:
Rights in a federally-registered trademark can last indefinitely if the owner continues to use the mark on or in connection with the goods and/or services in the registration and files all necessary documentation.
